A Note From the Founders:

When we started cPrime, Inc. five years ago on Thursday June 19th, 2003 we had a vision for a changed world through project leadership.  That vision remains the same today, “Be a catalyst for positive global change through project leadership, and have a fun time doing it.”  Now, as we look forward to the 10- year milestone, it’s equally as important to reflect back on the first five years to see how we got here.

A grim reality faced us on the day we started cPrime, as it does every other new business; only 1 out of every 5 companies is still around at the five year mark.   So, how did we get here?  Well, it was a combination of relentless determination, endless positive energy, and some of the most amazing employees, clients and vendors in the world.

So, it goes without saying that the purpose of the “5-Year” section is to say a very loud thank you to all the folks who have taken part in this amazing journey.  Every single person who has come into contact with cPrime, Inc. over the last five years has helped, in one fashion or another, to shape our company into the amazing entity that it is today.  Thank You!   We’re looking forward to another amazing five years of redefining project leadership, changing the way people execute concepts in Fortune 500 landscapes and celebrating every step of the way.

cPrime Milestones:

• Founded on June 19th, 2003
• Legally recognized by the State of California on July 7th, 2003 (note, cPrime started as an LLC and was converted to a C-Corp in late 2007.
• Becomes a profitable entity on May 15th, 2004 (profitable ever since)
• Became a multi-million dollar company on July 6th, 2007.
• Expanded Operations to Southern California on July 15th, 2007.
• Moved into our new corporate HQ on December 1st, 2007.
• Celebrating our five years of history . . . as OFTEN as possible.

Some Fun Facts on Small Business:

When cPrime was conceived the US was in one of the worst economic times for technology professionals in history.  The dot.com boom had imploded and there was a general panic in the industry about job stability and economic solidity.  Since we are once again in a less than favorable economic time we thought it would be fun to share some facts about businesses like ours and what they are doing to keep our economy strong.

Small business does a lot of good things . . .

• Employs about half of all private sector employees – 115.1 million to be specific!
• Has generated 60 to 80 percent of net new jobs annually over the last decade.
• Creates more than half of non-farm private gross domestic product (GDP).
• Hires 40 percent of high tech workers (such as scientists, engineers, and computer workers).
• Small innovative firms produce 13 times more patents per employee than large patenting firms, and their patents are twice as likely as large firm patents to be among the one percent most cited. – Sounds remarkably innovative.
