Job Description
  • Work jointly with senior technology managers to help develop business cases for new technology programs.
  • Provide support and oversight for the project governance process including new initiative planning and project schedules.
  • Manage group wide communication efforts.
  • Facilitate project prioritization and portfolio management.
  • Improve project execution by coaching Project Managers and teams in buildingwell-integrated, realistic project plans, and by ensuring team and organizational commitment to desired results.
  • Facilitate key program/?project strategy and planning meetings as needed.

  • Work with the Project Sponsors and Project Managers to drive timely decisions and resolution of issues
  • Ensure that all impacted business partners are kept engaged and informed of project and program status (progress, issues, schedule, benefit, and cost).
  • Fixed Income technology project/?program reporting
  • Manage and provide leadership to project managers and direct/?coordinateactivities to ensure that all projects within the program progress on scheduleand within budget.
  • Responsible for ensuring project mangers follow the propermethodologies/?processes
  • Operate and maintain data in the software tools that support financialmanagement processes
  • Provide independent QA for project deliverables, project plans and statusreporting
Requirements
  • 7 - 10 years combined experience in product development and building and specifying Web-based business applications, preferably 2-3 years in financial services.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in technical oriented business analysis techniques and user acceptance testing processes/methodologies in large, complex, diversified, global organizations.
  • Recent involvement in the day-to-day tasks of the user acceptance testing process.
  • Strong facilitation skills. Must be able to elicit requirements from various personalities across organizational and geographical boundaries.
  • Understanding of business and technical solutions surrounding the internationalization of Web-based applications.
  • Proficiency with linear software development life cycles and software development methodologies.
  • Aptitude for understanding, digesting and analyzing complex systems integration.
  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management.
  • Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks.
Educational Requirements
  • Requires a BA or BS in a relevant field (business, computer science, engineering, etc.) or equivalent functional expertise.
