Project Manager

These positions are responsible for planning, executing and finalizing projects in accordance with the company's PMO process. This includes ensuring a proper balance between a project's scope, budget, timeline and risk. To achieve this, the individual must work with sponsors and executives to create the project's measure of success (MOS) identify the skills and resources to achieve the MOS, track the team's velocity to identify schedule delays, manage all issues and risks that hamper a successful deliverable and track projects cost to avoid budget overruns.

Job Description
  • Be a quantitative leader in the organization, helping to inform new metrics which drive the business forward in ways that are consistent with key strategies.
  • Good understanding of technology (hardware/software) and how it all fits together.
  • Excellent Leader -- with the ability to Communicate and Facilitate in both business and technical environments.
  • Identify opportunities to use data to improve business performance.
  • Deliver clear written and oral communication with analysts, IT and internal customer teams.
  • Interact with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within committed time frames.
  • Improve upon existing approaches by seeking opportunities to creatively transform current practices into fresh alternative solutions. Significant experience with computer technologies with the ability to coach a highly technical team.
  • A strong understanding of project management processes and methodologies are essential as the candidate will manage the interface to the business process owners and provide leadership on complex projects, programs and portfolios .The ability to manage multiple changing priorities and change pace and direction on a dime.
Requirements
  • Eight years or more experience as a Project Manager on large, multi-team projects dealing with multiple, complex process areas and business groups.
  • Experience in an iterative software development environment (Agile Methodology highly preferred).
  • Prior major consulting firm experience a plus.
  • Prior international experience a plus.
  • Must be experienced in both the IT and Business side of solution delivery.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems or equivalent work experience
  • PMP® training or equivalent.
  • CSM training or equivalent.
