Has your company recently realized the power of SharePoint? Are you currently working on implementation and aren’t sure where to start? Maybe you simply want to get more out of SharePoint?

The first class in this series is a “SharePoint 101” class to introduce users to SharePoint navigation, core tools, and features for team and project member day-to-day collaboration with SharePoint. This class is targeted to End Users (team members, project members). Students will learn the basics of SharePoint through questions and answers with a SharePoint subject matter expert. They will have a clear understanding of the value of SharePoint and will be able to benefit from the rest of the series.
In this class, an in-depth study of how to use Lists and Libraries, students will learn how to navigate a SharePoint site, how to work with data in Lists and how to use Libraries to store and collaborate on documents. As an organization creates new Lists to manage business processes, the student will be able to immediately use those new custom lists. Once a solid understanding of the basics is covered, more advanced topics addressed directly to those SharePoint user roles that own and manage the content will be covered. Because this course is a deep-dive into advanced concepts, the student will not only understand how to configure and build Lists and Libraries, but how to do so to address the bigger picture of being able to find valuable information across the enterprise.
The final course in this program is designed to provide students with a deep dive into SharePoint automation ranging from working with documentation to managing records to full workflow processes and task tracking. The discussion begins with a quick review of SharePoint core concepts such as out-of-the-box apps. Once students have a solid foundation of basic and advanced tools, the class shifts to web based forms using InfoPath. Students will then finish with methods of modifying workflow templates, as well as producing powerful custom workflows from scratch using SharePoint designer to solve actual issues in the work place.
