Overview
The ICAgile Product Ownership (ICP-APO) course is one of two knowledge-based certifications on ICAgile’s Product Management Track.
This certification focuses on the accountability of Product Ownership to maximize value and deliver successful outcomes by embracing an Agile and innovative mindset.
Participants who complete this certification will gain an excellent foundation in value-based Agile solution delivery.
This course explores the need to balance the customer desirability, business viability and technical feasibility of developing a product.
The learning outcomes highlight specific tools, techniques and practices that enhance a product owner’s toolbox such as product innovation, visions, business model canvas, emergent requirements, prioritization methods, product road mapping, story mapping, user story writing, and more.
Successfully complete an ICAgile accredited course taught by an ICAgile Authorized Instructor.
ICAgile Authorized Instructors can withhold certifications based on lack of participation or understanding of course learning objectives.

Many providers assess via participation, activity and understanding conveyed via exercises and discussion, withholding certification when appropriate.
